What is the timeline to apply and to become a volunteer?

MercyWorks applications are accepted on a rolling admissions basis and priority is given to applications received by March 15. If applying after March 15, please contact MercyWorks staff to find out about available positions.

The application for the MercyWorks program consists of three parts. The first is an online application. Following your application submission, a MercyWorks staff member will follow up with you to schedule a phone interview and answer any questions you may have. If, after the phone interview, you are found to be a viable candidate for the MercyWorks program, you will be invited to visit Mercy Home for Boys & Girls for an in person interview. Please note that an in person interview is required of anyone interested in becoming a MercyWorks volunteer and volunteers must be willing to serve for the entirety of the service year, which starts in early July and lasts through June of the following year.
